The tell tale is an awkward story about a man with what I believe mental problems. He hears pounding hearts, he is afraid of an eye, and it took him 1 hour to walk through a door. The Tell-Tale Heart is definitely an awesome story. But is he sane? I believe that the man is insane, because his acute senses and his weird ways.
The main character of the Tell Tale Heart is indeed insane. The main character states that he has very acute hearing, that he can hear all the things in the heaven and in the earth. In addition to this he killed an old man, because his "vulture eye." Also he sneaked into his house every night at midnight just to watch his "vulture eye." This obviously proves that he Is insane.
The hearing and his "devil eye" watching prove that he is insane, but there is one more that my prove my theory; the way he disposes of the body. I believe that he's insane because he chops up the body and then puts under the floor board. Then, later in the night the watchmen come and he starts hearing the old mans heart beating and goes insane.
The Tell-Tale heart is a strange story that's worth reading. If you still don't ever get the time to you can agree with me from the facts that I've shown. He is insane, because his weird problems and his crazy behavior.
