The greasers hate the socs and the socs hate the greasers, sometimes this can lead into some big fights, just like in the story The Outsiders by: S. E. Hinton. Johnny and Ponyboy were trying to hook up with two socs girlfriends, and while they were walking them home, their boyfriends came up in a blue mustang, jumped out and almost started a huge fight. Then, later in the story Johnny and Ponyboy decide to run away and somehow collide with the socs and their mustang. They get out of the car and almost drown Ponyboy, but Johnny pulls a knife and stabs one of the socs. Now, they have to run away.
